Meditation Starter Guide

Meditation works best when it is practiced daily at a designated time and place in your own comfort. It may take some time to get into a routine, but once you decide where this quiet place in your heart is, you will see it's so worth looking for it.

Make sure you will have no disruptions or distractions in this cozy corner of your chosen room while you are surrounded by suitable items for meditation and wearing appropriate clothing in a softly lit environment filled with comforting sounds, fresh scents and vibrant colours. 

Take a seat on your hard cushion with your spine tall and straight either cross-legged or in your preferred position, wear your comfortable pair of pants to be able to bend and fold your knees as needed, keep a light shawl or blanket next to you to stay warm. You can also decorate your room with scented candles, wall decor, stones and crystals to turn it into an unforgettable experience each time you practise. 

At the beginning of your meditation, focus your attention on a candle flame or an object that comforts you for a few minutes, as this will help you grow into this experience.
